Sr. Cpl. Elizabeth Foxworth Helping Hands Project
Once again, the time has come for us to assist those who need it most by contributing to the Sr. Cpl. Elizabeth Foxworth Helping Hands Project. In remembrance of Foxworth’s unconditional loyalty, Sheriff Anthony Dennis has extended a helping hand to our community by partnering with the YWCA of Upper Lowlands Inc.
As law enforcement officers, we have an obligation to protect and provide services to domestic violence victims. During our daily tour of duties, we hear the graphic statements, observe the physical abuse and console many teary-eyed children who unfortunately witness these traumatic events. Therefore, monetary donations this year will be donated to the YWCA’s goal to build a transitional house for families like these that become displaced.
2020 has been a challenging year. Imagine how much more difficult it has been for domestic violence victims and their children.
Your monetary assistance will literally save lives! Give today for a better tomorrow.
